Easter Egg Rocks! Let’s save the Eggs!

Easter Egg Rocks! Let’s save the Eggs!

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

It’s Easter time!!  Well it may not feel like it being isolated from family and friends but I promise you it is!  Time to get in the spirit and this little craft will help with that along with entertaining the kids and helping put less of a strain on our food supply!

With everything going on right now I was thinking of ways to still make Easter fun for the kids without putting more of a strain on the grocery system (and bill).  One idea I came up with was rock “eggs”.  So a couple days ago my girls and I decided to find rocks outside that are similar in shape and size to eggs.  I let them wash them up with soap and water and dry over night.

Then the next day we painted them to look like Easter Eggs!

The girls had so much fun with each step from looking for the rocks to washing them up and then the best part was painting.

Then we will leave them out for the Easter Bunny to hide on Easter morning!  It was fun for me too!  And I feel good about not wasting eggs with them being a hot item in the stores right now, they are as HOT as toilet paper in my area.

So here are some tips for making these “Rock Eggs”

–  Look for rocks similar in size to eggs or if you have younger kids you can use                bigger rocks.

–  Cover the table with plastic garbage bags and tape them down so clean up is              easy.

–  These are the paints we used, now you don’t even have to go out in the stores to make these 🙂

–  Keep the rocks on paper plates until they are fully dried and let them paint on the same plate to help keep the mess in one spot.  I’m all about keeping the clean up and mess simple!

–  Have fun with it and go with the flow!  It is designed for all ages, my 2 year old did it too and we had fun with the mess she made.  Bath time fun too!

Daily Schedule of a Working & Home School Mom

Daily Schedule of a Working & Home School Mom

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

Well with all this covid-19 business and already being a work at home mom I have been asked by a lot of how do you do it all?  So I thought I would share some insight as to what my daily schedule looks like with homeschooling and working at the same time.

Now before this craziness we did not home school and my schedule was different, when things get back to normal I will post that schedule as well, I am learning more as this goes so our “normal” schedule will be even better!  Stay tuned!

So most mornings I try and wake up between 5 and 5:30 to knock out a few things before the kids get up.  So here it goes!

5:30  Wake up, make tea (no coffee this early, and tea is so good for you and faster to make by the cup)  I usually start up the computer and run through emails and make my daily list of to do’s.  Yes even locked in the house we have a list of stuff to do.  If I have time I will shower too.

6:30-7:00 Kids wake up and cuddle time

7:30-9:00  Make breakfast, cartoons, get dressed for the day.  I usually get ready while the kids are eating breakfast and watching TV then I get them dressed in play clothes.

9:00ish-11:00 we start some type of learning activity and a craft followed by about a half hour of outside play.

11:00-12:00  I work on the computer and any phone calls done  while the girls either continue playing outside or play dolls/in room in the house.  All this is weather permitting and we sometimes have to adjust.

12:00-1:00  Lunch time!  We get lunch ready and some days we mix it up and eat outside or even eat in different areas of the house (living room, girls room or my bedroom watching TV).

1:00-3:00 Nap Time for my youngest!  (Hoepfully  hahaha)  We are still adjusting to this nap schedule and if she doesn’t nap she still has to lay down and relax and watch Frozen 2, our new fave!

During this time my oldest will do more school work, practice her words, computer work or math skills and we read a book.  I sit next to her with my computer and try and get more of my work done too (emails, blog work, etc.).

3:00-5:00  This time varies day by day and by my work load.  If I am caught up on stuff then we will play outside or do an activity.  Check out this list of 20 fun things to do

And if mama still has more work to do I set up snacks and a movie.  I have come to terms that during all this my kids will be having more screen time than normal, it is OK because I also feel like they are getting some extra family and fun time in so its a give and take.

5:00-7:00  This is family time, get dinner ready and on the table and we eat dinner together like a family.  Click below to get my Busy Mom Meal Planner emailed to you.  Makes planning meals and making your grocery list so easy!

    free Meal Planner!

!7:00-8:00  Bath and finally bed time!  We set a timer for 5 minutes too and do a clean up of the house putting toys and clothes away.  Kids like to do this as a race and try to get it done before the 5 minutes and get extra snuggle time.  Then books, snuggles and snoozing!

8:00-9:30  Hubby time!  TV and chat.  I usually try and fold laundry too, multi task!

9:30-11:30  More computer work or house work if I am caught up with work, finish up tasks while kids are asleep.  If its been a very trying or busy day I will skip this and just go to bed 🙂

Extra tips:  I squeeze in switching the laundry too during the day and every time I walk from room to room I am grabbing a toy or clothes or something to put away in the room I am headed to.   This helps me try and keep things some what tidy without spending hours cleaning up.

Meal Prep in the early morning if you have extra time!  Throw something in the crockpot or chop veggies for a stir fry so you have more time in the evening.

Sometimes when you just need some extra quiet time, the phone or tablet is OK!  Give yourself a break, its a lot of work and stress right now.

So for now this is our daily!  It does change some days and be flexible with it because you have to be with kids but at least we have a guide to keep us directed.  This is just a temporary schedule and once school is allowed to resume it will change and I will update 🙂

Let me know how your schedule is going now!  I love to hear new ideas and always strive to make our routine better!

Take care and Wash Your Hands!  🙂

10 Tips for Mama to De-stress on Quarantine

10 Tips for Mama to De-stress on Quarantine

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

SO who is with me that by noon your about ready to pull your hair out?  Between multiple snacks, hearing “I’m bored”, if you have little little ones the whining from having a new schedule, kids hanging on you, most of us still trying to work from home with the kids all over the place, a destroyed house and I am sure I have missed stuff :/ Now more then ever it is very important for mama to practice self care!  I get it, it’s hard to find the time, but remember you can’t fill everyone’s glasses if yours is empty.  But how the heck do you do this??  Here are some tips that I am trying to use.

        1.  Take 10 Minute Breaks

Throughout the day try and take some 10 minute breaks.  I have even taken them by hiding in the bathroom.  Scroll Facebook or Pinterest or even just sit there and take some deep breaths and meditate.  You could even paint your nails.

        2.  Mandatory Kids Quiet time

At least once a day, usually late afternoon when I am about ready loose it we have quiet time/nap time.  Kids have to lay down in room or living room and relax in silence.  Gives me a minute to regroup and unwind.  And if its late enough have a glass of wine ha ha ha!  But seriously kids usually need this time too.

        3.  Take a long bath

On a trying day put the kids to bed early or have hubby step in and take a long hot bath, bust out the oils or bubble bath, candles and grab a book, glass of wine or tea and enjoy the quiet!

        4.  Stay in touch with your girlfriends

This is so important!  Make sure to reach out and stay in touch with your friends.  Call, text, Facetime.  That connection with your friends is good for your sanity.  Being able to relate to and vent and share this experience with your close friends is positive for your psych.  So send that text or make that call!

        5.  Go for a walk

If you can in your area, go for a walk, get some fresh air.  It is amazing what some fresh air and sunshine will do for you and the kids!  If you are on complete lock down then pace around your backyard 🙂

        6.  Grab a Treat

Who needs to worry about a diet right now??  Ha ha ha grab that chocolate bar (or hand full of gummy bears) and relax, enjoy it on your 10 minute hide away in the bathroom, then you don’t have to share it either.

        7.  A Stay in Date night with your significant other

Bonding with the hubby is still important right now so make sure you take the time at least once a week for some time with him too.  Put kids to bed early and grab some wine and turn on a movie.  If you have a backyard set up a fire pit or grab some blankets and cozy up outside and relax.  Give each other hand or foot massage so steal the kids Nintendo games and race it up on Mario Cart.  It will help to relieve the stress to have that connecting time and adult contact.

        8.  Watch a TV show all by yourself

One night after the kids go to bed watch a TV show or movie if you have time.  ALL… BY… YOURSELF!!  It will do you some good to hang out without kids hanging on you hahaha and watch what you want to.  And don’t look at your phone… which brings me to my next point….

        9.  Take a break from the media

It is so important to stay informed right now but it is equally important to take a break from it too at least once a day.  This is a good tip for everyone all the time.  With so much going on right now and the media all over the place encouraging a frenzy it is good to disconnect for a bit.  Doing this will really help you de-stress.

        10.  Do a fun activity with the kids

Take it back to being a kid, draw with them, play a game, play dolls, take a time out from work and the house and just pretend to be a kid with them.  You will be amazed at how much better you will feel.  The dishes and laundry and emails and and and and will all be there when you are done playing.  Check out my post on some great activities to do with the kids while on quarantine.

20 FUN Activities to do with kids while stuck at home

20 FUN Activities to do with kids while stuck at home

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

OK so we all are aware of the “pandemic” of the corona virus right now.  I’m trying not freak out about it but also not putting my head in the sand so the kids and I are trying to lay low and stay home until it blows over some or we really have more info about it.  Also just found out, school is out for 3 weeks so kids are home for a while.  (Yay for me working from home, check out this article on benefits of being a work at home mama)   But what the heck do you do with kids home all day, no school, no play dates and no target trips?  Check out these activities and ways to help stay sane!

        Have a Pic-Nic

Either in your own backyard or if no yard a inside one on living room floor.  Lay down a big blanket, pack each kid a little lunch bag and get out dolls and stuffed animals and make it fun.

        Go on a scavenger hunt!

Check out these free printables of indoor and outdoor hunts.  My girls love doing these!   Click here to get them!

Click to get a copy of your
        free Scavenger Hunt!

          Play movie theater

First pick a movie from Disney plus or nextflix or whatever movie derive you use then Have the kids make tickets to get into the movie.  What they are creating tickets get the “movie theater” set up.  Hang dark blankets over windows, set up comfy chairs (check out these multi purpose comfy chairs) get out blankets and make popcorn.  Maybe even let them have little cups of soda and mini candies like your really at the theater.  You can make little snack boxes with it all.  Then take the beautiful tickets and enjoy the movie!

          Play grocery store

We loved playing this when we were little!  Get out toy shopping cart and register (stroller or box and calculator if these are not toys you have) and let them have at the pantry/cupboard.  Bonus: reorganize when it’s clean up time!

          Bath time

Let them be mermaids or sharks or whatever they like, add bubbles and toys.  Bonus add Epsom salt and baking soda for a detox bath!

          Make a cooking show

Have them make and decorate chef hats out of paper then get out a cake box or whatever treat you have to make and let the kids do most of the work.  You can even record them and have them pretend to be on a cooking show.  How fun will that be to watch when they are older or to send to grandparents!

          Fashion show

Let the kids get into yours and hubby’s closet and put on a fashion show.  Snap pics like they are models in all of the wacky stuff they put on.  Bonus here too: organize it all as u clean up.

          Make a blanket tent

And pretend like your Camping.  Use a pile of orange and red clothes to “make a fire”, tell stories and have fun with it.  Make camping treats like hot dogs and smores.

          Make a Book

Check out these neat and cheap blank hard cover books.  They can really get into and make an adventure story or even make one page a day like a journal of the day.  Extra tip, on the last page make a hand and footprint so you can remember how little they were when they made it.

          Make a balloon room

Blow up a bunch of balloons and fill a room with them and have fun with a life size ball bit.

          Have a family game time

Get out all the games and cards and get to playing.  I was not prepared with games so I ordered these from amazon as soon as I found out school was cancelled: Jenga, High Ho! Cherry-O and Monopoly Jr.

          Play Pizza Party

Give the kids Pillsbury pizza dough and all the toppings and let them create their own pizza for lunch or dinner.  Mine LOVE doing this!

          Finger Painting

Line the table with newspaper or wrapping paper to minimize the mess.

Good Old-Fashioned Hide and Go Seek in the house

We have to put the dogs in the laundry room for this one, they always do the seeking and win 😊

          Plant a Mini Garden

If you don’t have dirt and seeds at home and trying to avoid going out to stores check out this garden kit on amazon, it’s a two in one, paint the container then plant the flowers!

          Make slime

I know I dread this one, but they love it!  Save this one for a day when they are going stir crazy and you are ready to pull your hair out, this would be like pulling out the big guns.  My favorite recipe is easy and not as sticky and messy and smells amazing!  Equal parts cornstarch and hair conditioner, once it has the consistency you like then add food coloring.  It ends up more like foam slime and those are two items I always have on hand.

Make an obstacle course in the house

Or outside weather permitting. Set up chairs to crawl under, laundry basked to jump over, yoga ball to bounce on, pillows to roll over or jump onto, shoes to weave through, get creative and do it with the kids, great exercise.

          Do yoga together

I love this yoga video and my kids love doing it too and laughing when they fall and getting out some energy.

          Horse Play

Another favorite of my girls, we have to this at least a few times a week.  They set up “fake water buckets”, gates (pillows) and laundry baskets and take turns riding around on my back and moving around from each “corral”.  And then I buck them off onto the bed or pillows.  Fun times!

          Video Games

When all else fails and you need some down time…. Bust out those video games!  They will be just fine if they spend some time vegging on the gaming systems.  Especially if you have done all of the above activities with them.

Hang in their Mamas!  And take these school closures (corona virus or snow days or just a spring/summer/winter break) and really enjoy your kiddos, they grow so fast and they will always remember all these fun activities that you have done with them!

10 Benefits of being a Work at Home Mom

10 Benefits of being a Work at Home Mom

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

Is there anything sweeter then early morning snuggles and not having to rush about to get kids to daycare and off to the office?  Who wouldn’t enjoy those mid day nap snuggles, cuddles all day long, getting to be a part of every part of your children’s day???

Ok not every day is like that sweet, but some days are if your lucky ha ha  But all joking aside being a work at home mom is amazing!!  And it has been the greatest choice my hubby and I have made for our family so far!  It has so many benefits for us aside from me still being able to contribute financially to our home.

Check out the benefits that me working from home has had for us and it might just help you get off the fence about making the plunge or not.  Stay tuned for my post on a list of work from home jobs!

            1.  You set your own schedule

For the most part you can set your own hours and try to work around the littles schedules.  This is so nice that you can try and get work done while they nap, your able to stop and take care of snacks and fights or booboos.

No need to put in for vacation and get denied, rearrange for field trips, school drop offs and pick ups, and don’t have to worry about missing sporting events due to work.

You are able to work early morning if your a morning person or late at night with a quiet house.  The flexibility is priceless!

            2.  Set your own income

The sky is the limit!  Unlike a 9-5 job where you can only put in so much over time, working at home gives you more flexibility to set your own earnings.

If you are a business owner like most work from homers’ you can strive to scale your business, whether its blogging, retail arbitrage, having an etsy store or many other jobs, there are always ways to simplify and set systems to work smarter but not harder and produce more income with the same or less hours.  Something that the corporate world does not allow.

            3.  Diverse tasks

Everyday is something different in the life of a mom blogger and real estate agent.  I never get bored with what the day brings, on top of being mom all day then sometimes I am a writer, accountant, counselor, photographer, project manager, website designer, problem solver and so much more.

I love that I never get bored of the same tasks on repeat.  Great for someone who likes to bounce around on tasks daily, now it is in the job description.

            4.  Being able to raise your kids & save money.

I love that I am the one in control of what my kids do, see and learn all day.  Plus you save a ton on daycare costs!  I know some families that pay almost a mortgage payment for daycare every month.  Some moms (or dads that choose to stay at home) can actually survive off less of a paycheck without daycare costs.  Bonus!

I was very lucky that I was able to exclusively breastfeed both of my girls which has so many great benefits to them and was easy on the pocket book.  I feel so lucky that I was able to do that and have that bonding time with them!  Plus after hearing working friends talk about the struggle of being away from baby and breastfeeding still, working from home made it easier for me.

            5.  No need for sick days

A huge bonus is not having to call in sick when one or all of the kids are sick.  It usually goes something like this too: kid one gets sick then starts getting better just in time for kid two to catch it and then repeat through the house, sick days are all used up by the time mama gets it, yikes!

No more having to take days off for Dr. appointments or having to leave work early when the school calls to pick up a sick or hurt one.

            6.  Work from anywhere

The Park, Starbucks, Nana and Papas house, in your car at school pickup or even in line for gas at Costco.  Yep I have done all of the above and so many other places.  It is nice to not be tied to a desk all day, take your laptop and go, go outside and work on the patio while the kids play, or work in bed if you get so lucky!

This is a great benefit for those that like to travel too!

            7.  Save money on dining out

Working from home allows you to be home during lunch and able to grab something from home to eat saving you money on fast food and to go lunches.  Figure your average lunch is $10 and that is on the low side, your saving $50 a week, $200 or more a month by heating up left overs or making a protein shake for lunch because you are home and you can.

Your also home to be able to cook dinner and not have to worry about rushing home to start dinner only to get stuck in traffic and have to grab fast food.  Stay tuned for posts on meal prepping from Costco chickens, or how to easy meal plan for the busy mom.

            8.  Work in your PJ’s

OK most days I am not in the same PJ’s I slept in, I put on clean leggings and a t-shit every morning hahaha.  But it sure is nice to not have to get dressed up in office attire and dress shoes every morning.

I love my leggings and flip flops!  Check out these comfy leggings with a cell pocket and these reef flip flops, amazing, my mama uniform.  The flip flops are comfy right from the get go and it is nice to keep your phone on you for photo ops while outside playing.

An added bonus to not dressing up: you save on dry cleaning and buying work clothes and comfy clothes!

            9.  No commute time

This has a few benefits: Not as much wear and tear on your car, save money on gas and maintenance and imagine the stuff you can get done not sitting in a car on the freeway (dinner, laundry, cleaning, me time, more time with the kids, so many possibilities).

            10.  Avoiding workplace drama

Some people can’t say no to juicy workplace gossip or drama (ME ME ME ME) so it is nice to be able to get my work done and move on with the only distraction of my kids during the day.

A lot of people can be way more productive in the comfort of a home office or evening living room, that’s why so many more companies are moving to remote work spaces, capitalize on that mamas!

I know working from home is not for every mama and that is 100% OK, just wanted to share a little bit of how it has been a benefit for my family and help you to see some of the pros when you are trying to decide if it is the right decision for your family too.

All mamas are amazing for doing what they can for there family and sometimes it is working out of the home and sometimes it is working from home and others it is not working at all.  I support all of you beautiful mamas in your path!

12 Tips for a Work at Home Mama

12 Tips for a Work at Home Mama

This post may contain affilate links that do not cost you any extra but really help my family and allow me to keep this blog going and I appreciate it!

Being a work at home mama has its pros and cons for sure.  Most days you will love it and reap the benefits of it and some days you will wish you had your 9 to 5 back.

I have been a working at home for 10 years now and 6 years ago became a mama working at home.  So I have learned a lot…. Some of it the hard way but I wanted to share some things that have helped me out and saved my sanity.

              1.  Prepare in the morning for what the day will look like.

Or the night before right before bed for you night owls.  This will give you a plan for the day and draw a sense of stability to start off the day.

I like to set a morning routine of getting up early, I know when the kids haven’t slept all night and you were up 5 times nursing a baby it is hard to get moving but I promise this step of setting up your day ahead of time will help to go with the flow half asleep.  Coffee PLEASE!

It helps to get up around the same time every morning, consistency helps to set that internal alarm clock, oh and early rising kids helps with that too!  Again, Coffee PLEASE!!  See tips 11 and 12 for ideas for setting up the day.

              2. Establish a chore routine.

We all know the laundry needs washed and put away or it’s the babies disposable diapers for everyone without clean underwear, eeek, dishes need washed, the floor probably has enough crumbs to make a whole meal and enough dog hair to make another small dog and lets not even approach the subject of the bathroom yikes!

And some days there is just not enough time or energy to go around but if you have it spelled out on a chart and break it down into small tasks every day it’s a little easier to achieve.  Mini win for Mama when you get each little task crossed off!

              3.  Create a work area that is easy to work in.

So if you have littles that still need close supervision I recommend a designating an area in close proximity to the play area like a corner out of the living room or dining room.  I have a 6 and 2-year-old and my area is right in the middle of the house (a cut out area off of the kitchen) so I can see and run to all play areas when screaming and yelling starts or when they get too quiet, not sure which is worse.

And if they are old enough to be unsupervised for a while by all means mama set up that office behind closed doors, they are old enough and you earned it by now!  Whether you have a work space in a room or your own office decorate that area and make it your own.

You will feel more inclined to work if your area is set up to your liking.  Try to keep it clean and organized too so if it is a space in a room the littles don’t take off with your stuff, I speak from experience, lock and key those Sharpies!!!

              4.  Get kids all set up prior to work time.

Make sure they are set up with snacks, drinks, a show on the TV that all agree on, enough dolls and toys out for them to share (hopefully share, que the screaming) and then something like playdough or the dreaded slime ready to go to toss out when the novelty of everything else wears off.

Also have that iPad charged and ready to go when you just need a few more minutes.  Yeah yeah yeah I know electronics are bad but sometimes you just need that extra few minutes of peace.  Educational games only right?

              5.  Set up a remote work area outside.

This will accomplish 2 things: First is that the kids will enjoy being outside and having that freedom while you work close by.  I try to do tasks like writing out blog ideas or even blog posts on the porch while the littles play in the yard because all I need is a pen and notepad, not a lot to drag out and put away.

Second, sometimes you need a change of scenery to be more productive or get creative juices flowing and the fresh air and sunshine is amazing for that.

              6.  Set Boundaries

I am not the greatest at this, but it was my New Year’s resolution to get better at it.  So littles are always first priority but it is good to start them out young by letting them know that mama has to get work done and we need quiet play time or entertain yourself time, then we can all play together later.

Letting husband, family and friends know that when you don’t answer your phone you are working, treating work time more like a job where you are not returning texts or calls during “business hours.”

Setting boundaries will help tremendously in staying focused especially since the littles at home with you will already be enough of a distraction.  It will help family and friends recognize and respect your work at home job too.

              7.  Pick one “Big Work” Day a week

I like to pick Mondays, but you may have to pick a different one depending on your family schedule.  So on Mondays I try to make no appointments, zero errands and only leave the house to pick up kids from school.

I do not usually shower or get completely ready (hear that… don’t visit on Mondays, not presentable) and I try to knock out as much work as I can this day.  I get things ready for the week and set my weekly to do list to later break down into daily list.

I also catch up on all phone calls, emails and any chores from the weekend list that did not get done.  I usually meal plan this day and order online and set up the grocery pick up for the week.

              8.  Utilize kid free time to the max!

I get up really early because, well, my kids do.  So I am up usually at 4:30 or 5 to knock out a couple hours of work before they get up.  I use this time for computer work or boring stuff like banking and admin work that I don’t want interrupted during.

Don’t you hate having to log in to online banking 10 times to balance your account because during they day you are up and down? Naps are also good work time if your littles still do this, Lucky!

              9.  Meal Plan/Prep

I started this a few months ago and wow!  What a difference.  I make my list on Sunday or Monday of our meals for the week considering our schedule and which nights are late to plan accordingly.

Click the link below to get a copy of my free plan printable.  Sometimes we move stuff around, but I know that these meals are what I have on hand for the week and we go from there.

No more wasting time standing at fridge at 6:00 wondering what to cook for dinner!  I leave this meal planner on the fridge to reference.  I also like to meal prep stuff like chicken and having quick stuff on hand for late nights.

                10.  Ask for help!

This was also a hard one for me and I am still working on it.  We mamas try to do it all on our own all the time and well sometimes we just need help and that is ok.

They do say it takes a village and even more so when you are trying to do it all and work at home with no set office hours that you are away.  So this may look different for each family but it could include any of the following: housekeeper every week or every other (daily if you can afford it, lucky!), meal delivery service, shopping help (Instacart, Shipt, Walmart grocery pick up, amazon grocery delivery), help from a family member once a week with kids, or laundry service.

Whatever works, makes you happy and you can afford.

                11.  Keep your calendar on your phone

I started this last summer and amazing!!  Most of us are almost never without our phone, so I am never without my calendar.

I set alarms on it to remind me of things and then it syncs to my apple watch so my next event is always displayed on my screen, did I say how amazing this is and what a life saver it has been!

We remembered last minute that it was 90’s day at school because of this little trick.

                12.  Best tip but it is long one

This is a little series of tips that string together to make one big tip….

So when you are cooking, at the store, on the phone, anything but not at your computer and think of something you need to do/call about/take care of/make email yourself (my hubby even emails me when he needs me to take care of something now: note he needs more shampoo and dogs need flea meds) then in the morning when I am setting up my day and making my daily to do list I reference my emails to see what needs to be added to it.

I check me emails all the time and first thing when I wake up, along with making my lists.  Then I check my weekly list that I made on Monday and see if anything gets added to the daily.

I also review my calendar on my phone and add those items on daily list too.  Don’t feel bad if everything doesn’t get done off the list, rarely does, I just move the leftovers to the next day and start all over.

This is the daily book I use, it fits perfect in my purse and sits on top of center console in the car.  Everything also syncs to my apple watch, this really helps keep me on time, I was ALWAYS LATE!!!  This has made me very productive and feel productive in checking off items!

I hope that these tips above help you out to make being a work at home mama a little easier, at least some of the days and for the other days remember there is always WINE.  Let me know which ones are your favorite and if you have any others that work great for you!  Mamas that share care 😊
